What to tell you about me, well many years ago now back in 1984, almost seems a lift time ago. I was in sea scouts, and we did this badge called photography. I had a simple SLR camera back then. I shot some pictures, and then developed the film myself. Black and white I may add it was alot easier then colour!

And this is where I first gained a love of taking Pictures. Then over the next few years, I got involved with building stationary steam engines and running a traction engine, which was fun. Apart from when I hit this fence and went through it!

Then got into medieval re-enactment which I did from 1989 - 2009 when I called it a day because of looking after my disabled wife.

So needed something to do and although I had always had camera, as in simple point and click ones, I thought it was time to step up a gear. And so bought a bridge camera. And started to learn some of the Fstops again and shutter speeds and the like.

And now its time to get a DSLR, which with a bit of luck I will be getting in the morrow!

I'm some one who will drop anything to help out a friend but dont like being sh*t on. More then that I am an easy come easy go sort of guy who likes to have an easy life and does not like being messed around, but then again who does?


I love having fun and seeing just how much trouble I can get into...

One of my past times now, is going out with Mr Matt and taking some nice pictures....
